As January approached and I thought about this blog, community and all my business ventures, I wanted this year to be very productive. I wanted to plan and be better prepared this year. I wanted to conquer and accomplish things, not just begin them. And I wanted to grow-personally, spiritually, in my business.
Of course with growth comes change and sometimes that can be hard. Even the most visionary, adventurous souls out there do well in some form of a routine. We are wired that way. But even though change can be hard and sometimes even scary, it’s required if we are to grow.
Now don’t worry, I’m not talking about core values, character, or convictions changing. I’m just talking about assessing what is working and what is not and adapting (changing) to make things better. And that is exactly what I want to share in this post. Some new, exciting changes I’m bringing to the blog.
Herb It Up Happenings-the vlog
First, there will be more (much more) video content. Don’t worry, I’ll still be posting articles, recipes, tips and all the usual stuff, but you’ll also be seeing more shorter posts with videos in them. Y’all I just love to talk. (My husband is “Amen-ing” that big time!) Videos are just more natural for me and quite frankly, easier. I feel like y’all can get to know me better through video. Personality, tone, real-life seem to come through easier on video than words on paper (or device).
So I am introducing a new series of vlog style videos where you can see more of the behind the scenes of our life. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy these and share your comments. This first vlog is just an intro but in it I share some of my plans for the next few weeks which include more things to come on the site. And I’ve already got the next video recorded. All it needs is editing and it will be up soon! I’m excited about it because I share about our natural approach to braces-with a trip to the orthodontist.
Let me know what you think of the first video/vlog and make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel to get the newest videos as soon as they are uploaded.
As always,
