One of our favorite ways to enjoy our kefir is with breakfast as a smoothie. Our latest favorite is to make it into an Orange Julius. This tastes every bit as good as one from the local ice cream place but none of the sugar and it has added probiotics too! You can’t beat that!
- 1 cup kefir
- 1 cup orange juice best if slushly
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ice cubes
- Blend all ingredients in blender. I like to freeze the orange juice until it's slushy to make this thicker. Otherwise add more ice cubes to make as thick as you like.
